Aqualyx® is a targeted injectable treatment for small, localised areas of unwanted fat on both the face and body.

It's designed for those stubborn areas that can remain despite changes to diet, exercise and lifestyle — making it a contouring treatment rather than a weight-loss solution.

How does Aqualyx® work?

Aqualyx® is injected directly into the targeted fatty tissue. The treatment disrupts fat cells within the area, allowing them to be gradually cleared by the body over time.

Treatment usually takes around 45 minutes, including preparation and numbing time. Depending on the area being treated, Kate may use a series of small injections or a cannula technique.

What areas can we treat?

Aqualyx® can be used on carefully selected areas of the face and body, including:

FACE

• Double chin

• Jowls

BODY

• Abdomen

• Flanks / love handles

• Bra and back area

• Upper arms

• Inner and outer thighs

• Around the knees

• Other suitable localised areas following assessment

Every body is different, so Kate will assess the area first and advise whether Aqualyx® is likely to be an appropriate treatment for you.

How many treatments will I need?

This isn't necessarily a one-treatment journey.

Depending on the size of the area and your individual response, a course of treatments may be required.

Your progress will usually be reviewed around 4–6 weeks after treatment, allowing Kate to assess your response before deciding whether another session would be beneficial.

What should I expect afterwards?

Swelling is an expected part of the recovery process and can be particularly noticeable when treating the chin and jowl area. This is often most apparent during the first 48–72 hours.

You may also experience temporary:

• Tenderness

• Redness

• Bruising

• Firmness

• Sensitivity within the treated area

These effects can last longer for some clients, so it's important to consider your diary when booking — particularly if you're treating the face.
