Where Medical Expertise Meets Natural Beauty
Tyne Skin Clinic
IV Drips & Vitamin Injections
Your little wellness top-up.
Sometimes wellness is about giving yourself permission to stop for a moment.
At Tyne Skin Clinic, we offer IV vitamin therapy and intramuscular vitamin injections, giving you two ways to incorporate selected vitamins and nutrients into your wellness routine, always following an appropriate consultation and suitability assessment.
Whether you're popping in for a quick vitamin shot or staying a little longer for an IV drip, we've made the experience feel less clinical and a little more Tyne.
Take a seat in one of our wellness chairs, enjoy a matcha and take a moment for yourself while we take care of the rest.
IV Vitamin Drips
Sit back. Switch off. Recharge.
IV therapy delivers fluids and selected nutrients directly into the bloodstream through a small cannula placed into a vein.
Your treatment is selected following consultation, taking into consideration your individual needs, medical history and suitability.
And while your drip is running?
That's your time.
Settle into one of our chairs, enjoy a matcha, catch up on something you've been meaning to read — or simply do absolutely nothing for a while.
Wellness doesn't always need to feel like another thing on your to-do list.
Vitamin Injections
Short on time? Meet the vitamin shot.
Vitamin injections offer a quick and convenient alternative to an IV drip.
Selected vitamins are administered via an intramuscular injection, with the treatment itself taking only a few minutes.
They're ideal if you'd like to incorporate vitamin treatment into your day without needing the additional time required for an IV drip.
Although, you're still very welcome to stay for the matcha.
Which One Is Right for Me?
You don't need to decide before you arrive.
We'll discuss why you're considering treatment, your medical history, any medications or supplements you're taking and whether an IV drip, vitamin injection or neither is appropriate for you.
Different formulations and vitamins have different indications, so we don't believe in simply choosing whichever drip has the most exciting name.
Your treatment should have a reason behind it.
The Tyne Approach
Wellness, without the wild promises.
Vitamin therapy is surrounded by some pretty big claims online.
At Tyne Skin Clinic, we prefer a more considered approach.
IV drips and vitamin injections aren't a replacement for a balanced diet, good sleep, movement or appropriate medical care.
And if you're experiencing persistent fatigue, recurrent illness or generally feeling unwell, our first recommendation may be to speak with your GP or arrange appropriate medical investigation rather than simply booking a vitamin treatment.
Your wellbeing comes before selling you a drip.
What to Expect
Your Consultation
Before treatment, we'll review your medical history, medications and supplements and discuss what you're hoping to achieve.
This allows us to determine whether treatment is suitable and which option may be appropriate.
If You're Having an IV Drip
A small cannula is placed into a suitable vein and your prescribed or selected IV solution is administered gradually.
You'll remain comfortably seated throughout your treatment and will be monitored while your drip is running.
If You're Having a Vitamin Injection
Your selected vitamin is administered via a quick intramuscular injection.
The appointment itself can be completed relatively quickly, making this the perfect option for busier days.
Afterwards
Most clients can continue with their day following treatment.
Depending on what you've had, you may experience temporary tenderness, redness or bruising around the injection or cannula site.
You'll receive any treatment-specific aftercare before leaving.
Make It Your Moment
Come in for your vitamin shot.
Stay a little longer for your IV drip.
Take a seat. Have a matcha. Switch off for a moment.
Because appointments don't always have to be about changing the way you look.
Sometimes they're simply about creating a little more time to look after you.
