Skin Boosters
Better skin, without changing your face.
Sometimes you don't want to add volume, change your features or look like you've had anything done.
You simply want your skin to look better.
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve hydration, texture and overall skin quality, creating a fresher, smoother and more rejuvenated appearance while keeping the result beautifully natural.
Unlike traditional dermal fillers, the focus isn't on sculpting or changing the shape of your face.
It's about the skin itself.
As we age, levels of collagen and elastin naturally decline and the skin can begin to feel thinner, drier and less resilient. Fine lines become more noticeable, hydration reduces and we can lose some of that natural luminosity and bounce.
Skin boosters can form part of a personalised treatment plan to help improve these visible changes.
Think refreshed, hydrated and healthy, not "done".
What Can Skin Boosters Treat?
Depending on the product selected and your individual assessment, skin boosters may be used to improve the appearance of:
Fine lines
Dehydrated or crepey skin
Dullness
Uneven texture
Reduced elasticity
Age-related changes in skin quality
Selected under-eye concerns
And they're not just for the face.
Treatment may also be considered for areas where the skin can begin to show signs of ageing, including the:
Face · Under Eyes · Neck · Décolletage · Hands · Arms · Knees
The Tyne Approach
It's not always about adding volume.
One of the things I love most about skin boosters is that we're concentrating on quality rather than changing your features.
There are many different injectable skin treatments available, and I don't believe in choosing a product simply because it's currently trending.
Products such as Redensity, NCTF 135 HA and Sunekos all have different formulations and indications. I'll assess your skin first and select an appropriate treatment based on what your skin actually needs and what you're hoping to achieve.
I particularly like injectable skin treatments for carefully selected under-eye concerns, where the aim may be to improve hydration, fine lines and overall skin quality without creating unnecessary volume.
Skin boosters can also sit beautifully within a wider treatment plan alongside treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers or PRP, where appropriate.
The important thing is that we don't simply throw everything at your face.
We create a plan.
What to Expect
Your Consultation
We'll begin by looking properly at your skin.
I'll assess your concerns, skin quality, medical history and any previous aesthetic treatments before discussing which injectable skin treatment — if any — I think is appropriate for you.
We'll also talk about what you can realistically expect from treatment and whether I'd recommend a single treatment, an initial course or a combination approach.
During Treatment
The chosen product is carefully administered into the skin using a series of small injections or another appropriate technique depending on the product and treatment area.
You'll be made comfortable throughout, and your treatment will be tailored specifically to the area we're working on.
Immediately Afterwards
It's normal to experience some temporary:
Redness
Swelling
Tenderness
Bruising
Small raised bumps at injection points
These generally settle as the product integrates, although recovery varies depending on the treatment used and the individual.
When Will I See Results?
Skin boosters aren't about an instant dramatic transformation.
The aim is progressive improvement in the appearance and quality of your skin, and results will vary depending on the product selected and your individual treatment plan.
Some treatments are best performed as an initial course, followed by maintenance where appropriate.
We'll explain your recommended schedule before you begin.
Good aesthetics isn't always about changing what you see.
Sometimes it's simply about making the skin you're already in look healthier, fresher and beautifully cared for.
